Blackberry Storm UK: First Look Review Video
It has been rumored on the Internet for months now, but finally it is here - the new Blackberry Storm. This is the new touchscreen phone by Blackberry, the makers of the Bold, The Flip, the Pearl and others.
So what do you get? Obviously you get a touchscreen phone but what makes this phone different from the Apple I phone is that this phone is clickable, meaning that you can scroll around between the different interfaces and different menu systems, then you simply click on an icon to get where you’re going. This feature not only gives you responsiveness but when you are replying to an e-mail you can click the reply button and a QWERTY keyboard will appear so that you can basically type a response to that e-mail.
The Blackberry has always been good at e-mail, and this phone is no different. But this Blackberry Storm is not just about e-mail. Because of its 3.2 inch screen, you can surf the Internet easily and without eyestrain. Internet connections are very fast and the screen makes it easy to navigate around the Internet.
Audio and video are no problem with this phone as well. Check out the video below and you will see a good demonstration of some of this phones features.

There are a few - Laggy when you switch from landscape and normal, some laggy menus and thats all i could catch through out the many reviews ive watched. But thats pretty good, because it could just be fixed with a firmware update.
BIAS we dont even get teh bad parts about the storm

iPhone still wins, how bout blackberry gets some attractive icons…they are very ugly. Still a good competitor to the iphone and yes has mms which is gay that iphone doesnt but still loses
I was right about to order one of these yesterday but then the people at verizon told me that you had to have internet with the phone so it was an extra $30 a month so I couldn’t get it =[ what a way to ruin my christmas! lol W/e
if you don’t like suretouch then it can be diabled to work like an iphone touch screen. but i prefer it. love my storm!
these phones are the best yet! one bad thing, the old phones, (sony erricsons) and all that, not to long ago, is that they could survive quite a hard drop, at skool my friend dropped his nokia 6230i from a 15 meter stairs..by accident, smacked on the floor, all that happened was the back case came off, nothing wrong with the phone, how ever , these may not survive a 1 meter drop, i no its our fault but its touch screen so you would have to hold it with one hand and touch with the other.
i love the touch screen on the storm! you can move the screen around without selecting things. I can scroll up and down by lightly touching the screen, and then press down when i want to select something. with my old iphone i would end up pressing links when i just wanted to scroll, very annoying. so glad i got my storm!
wow you don’t know what you are talking about. youtube works great on my storm. the screen is the same as on any other touchscreen, including my old iphone. 3G is available in most countries around the world, especially since it started in europe. all my itunes songs transfered effortlessly, all my vids transfered to my storm easy too. Its faster than my old iphone. newer models will have wifi. get your facts straight. im am so glad i traded in my iphone for the storm. never looking back.
they’re pretty much made for different consumer groups manolo, ive had both the iphone and storm, if u alot of emailing or mobile business, storm is a lifesaver. some of the BB apps have saved me few thousand $ in just the 2 days i had it. but no itunes support and the games arnt as good, mayb itll change soon tho. who knos?
LOL no wifi No you tube plastic screen that scrached on my friend phone on the 1st day and importing mp3s and especially video is a night mare NO apps Still uses mobile web browsing which is crap And Slow hardware. oh and for those that go travelling um there is no 3g in other countries so you would really need the wifi which um this crap dont have so have fun loading your e mail wake me up when its done lol

i had an iphone and traded it for the better storm. new updates will be out soon to fix any bugs. it has bluetooth, longer battery life, removeable replacement battery, can get a 16G memory card giving it 17G memory total, better resolution screen, works faster, better speaker quality, works around the globe, video camera, 3.2 MP pictures, flash, faster 3G verison network, app store in the making, copy/paste, picture messaging, i heard it will have wifi soon, the list goes on. sry apple
