Blackberry Storm Update and Iphone Question
I have a verizon family plan and plan with sticking with verizon. I have the itouch, so i am already used to touch screens.
How is the blackberry storm with the new update?
Does it now stack up better with the iphone?
I have an upgrade in a month and do not know if i want the storm, curve or dare.
IS IT WORTH $200 OR SHOULD I GET ANOTHER PHONE?
I have heard from people that the Storm cannot be compared to the iPhone. But, I really am not one for the iPhone, so, I am getting the Blackberry Storm ina few days and really excited. So, no comparision peoples vote iPhone over Blackberry Storm.

I’ve used the storm for several weeks now and I was frustrated with it before I installed the new update, because the phone would lag and freeze all the time and the touch-screen keyboard was slow to respond.
After the update (which was considerable and took about 20 minutes to fully complete), all these problems disappeared, and now I love the phone. I think it is VERY worthwhile to upgrade to the storm…especially if you like to use your phone for web surfing, because it really is the best I’ve ever seen with its large screen! Bluetooth also works better than on the Dare.
If you want to use it extensively for games, be prepared to pay some hefty prices…a lot of third-party vendors who typically sell Blackberry games haven’t caught up to the Storm yet, and those that do have Storm games charge an average of $10 per game application, and some as much as $25.
For free ringtones, the storm works great with mytinyphone.com, though!
I’ve never had the iPod Touch or iPhone… BUT I think you been reading the reviews on YouTube ?? They are UNDESERVED… I have had the phone since Friday and the Internet since Monday…
GREAT I can’t imagine life with out it - I ´down graded´ from a Nokia N95-8Gb…. I alway’s say down-graded because the camera is worse, I think the flash is better on the Storm though !!
The Nokia has a dual slide… I miss the Media keys… but the Acc. which make’s the screen turn is a lot FASTER than on the Storm. the bad reviews are not needed =) get the phone

I think it is worth every single penny. I had it for two weeks now. and it is always getting better. The update fixed a lot of bugs in the phone, I am sure there will be more updates in the future. as I always say, if you are a frequent e-mail user then go with the blackberry storm. Wanted to return it on day 1, but I’m glad I stuck with it. Did the update, did the screw adjustment, now it’s really growing on me
