		<description>You don't need to unlock the phone.  Since the 8830 and Storm are both GSM phones on CDMA network.  You would not be able to use the GSM in North American but outside NA all you have to do is simply pop in the GSM SIM and it should work.

If you see GPRS instead of 1XEV that you seen on the top right hand corner then you are on GSM.  If you do not see that then go into your Options Network and switch off CDMA.</description>
