Well, this is really up to you. The Storm isn't out yet so nobody can really say if it is as good as it is rumored to be. As far as the trackball, have you tried cleaning it? I use a little bit of rubbing alcohol (ONLY A LITTLE BIT) on a Q-Tip and rub it on the trackball while the phone is off. I then use the canned air to blow out any dust or dirt and dry the trackball. You can also take the trackball out to clean it but if you break it, you void your warranty. If there is an issue with the trackball that cleaning it won't fix (you didn't really say how it was "messing up") then you have a 1 year Manufacturer's Warranty on the phone and it can be replaced. If you are not interested in getting the phone fixed and just want a new one, expect to shell out anywhere between $600-700 for a Storm full price (if not more).
