I got a blackberry storm which can be said as free. I am a blackberry storm tester.
The storm is hard to use-it had a touchscreen that isn’t as good as the iPhone. If you want touch screen, go for the iPhone. You can buy it and have it put on any network, but it is expensive. Perhaps you should sign up and be a tester as well
I have had the Blackberry Storm for a couple months now and its a pretty good phone, but its not without its faults. I have listed some pros and cons below I hope this helps.
Pros:
The email support you have come to love from BlackBerry.
The multimedia capabilities are good (not iphone quality).
The Storm looks and feels good in the hand.
Breat bluetooth support with A2DP stereo support for music playback.
Good phone sound quality and reception.
High screen resolution…looks awesome with videos!!!
Multiple keyboard configurations.
Video recording.
Multimedia messaging.
3.2 MP camera with autofucus, stabilization, flash, GPS tagging…
Expandable memory up to 32 GB.
Replaceable battery.
Cons:
The operating system still needs some polishing (RIM need to release a more stable version)
The media player is functional and does what it needs to, but lacks the polish of the iPhone.
There have been some quality control issues with hardware.
Applications are expensive and limited (App Store coming in March).
