$249.99 of course that’s with a 2-year contract on a Nationwide email plan…but…get this; there’s also a $50 rebate!!! So we’re down to $199.99 A-n-d…you may have a “New Every Two” credit that you can apply towards your new phone!! The old credits were $100 but they’ve changed those to $50…I take care of our work Verizon cell phone account and we still have some lines that I get that $100 for…and I’ve been saving them for just the right phone…hmmm I believe this is THE phone! I have never had a blackberry before so I’m excited to jump into RIM with the Storm.
I figure that I’ll end up paying $99.99!! I really thought that I’d be waiting months for the price to come down on this phone. I honestly thought the price would be $350+ But I guess they realized that the volume of phones and contracts they’ll sell will MORE than make up for crazy high phone prices!
Oh…btw release date is 11.21.08
Njoy!
$199 after a $50 mail in rebate. If your using New every 2 then you would get $100 or $50 off making it $100. If you buy it from Best Buy you don’t have to wait for the rebate.
And for others
Full Retail is $499 with NO rebate
1 year pricing is $269.99 after mail in rebate
Well since everyone else have already given an in depth report on your answer I will tell you the best places to find out about new upcoming phones. Check the boygeniusreport.com and crackberry. They know about new cell phones and pricing before others.
First off the Storm is retailing for 250 with a 50 rebate. So the phone is going to cost after rebate is 200. To bring the phone down another 100 bucks, call verizon to see if you are elgible for a headset upgrade, meaning you are either 1. out of contract with verizon or 2. you have completed 1 year of your term already. So, now the cost is $100.
Now this is what you do to get the storm for FREE.
The kicker is on - search for blackberry storm. There is a link called upgrade to Blackberry that is valid till 11/30 where you send in any phone and you get atleast a $50 dollar cash back when you go with a new Blackberry, ie. Storm. I sent in my 3 year old Tmobile MDA and got $100 credit, making the Storm FREE. You can even get paid, if you have more old phones to send.
