  1. saw move in beckenham 70’s performed this song with this line up. 10 people in the place. I have to say they were great this song had just come out.
    they were tremendous don’t forget this made no 1 in the usa. great song memorable band. the move. yes..

  2. It’s odd……i find The Move a very important band in the development of Glam Rock, musically as much as in terms of style! Though, critics don’t mention The Move as a glam rock precursor!

  8. Yes. at this same concert. They were also performing Beautiful Daughter and The Last Thing on My Mind. Both these songs were really released in 1970. Lol.

  23. Always liked this song, and The Move in general. Saw Carl Wayne singing with the Hollies a couple of years ago (a great concert, actually.) RIP, Carl.

  24. Hi brigader! Weren’t ‘Balls’ the group ‘Steve Gibbon’s,(founder member of ‘The Uglys’),the group ‘Steve Gibbons’, formed wen ‘Uglys’ split in 69′ ? They only lasted a yr or so b4 ‘Steve G,went on 2 form,’The Steve Gibbons Band’.
