I can say the same for any platform. A lot of sw is junk.

Have you seen medical references, db clients, VNC, remotes for media center, radio, 3D molecule viewer, various calc for different disciplines, measurement tools and games. The list is growing daily. Developers are making money. It’s a low cost entry way for small developers to sell directly to a lot of paying customers. Apple’s restrictions aren’t killing the entrepreneurship in developers. Numbers of new apps shows it’s not a problem.

Verizon and AT&T are going to carry the Blackberry Storm in the US. I hope Sprint gets it too, but if not, I’ll have to switch to Verizon after my contract w/ Sprint is up in December.

Actually AT&T isn’t going to carry it at all unless Verizon’s sales on the phone tank, because it’s contracted as a lifetime Verizon exclusive (provided RIM is happy with the number of sales Verizon gets), so there is a good chance you’ll have to switch over when your contract ends.

dam that sucks. i have the blackberry pearl for att and i was looking forward to get to this phone. guess thats not going to happen. Ill just wait for the next iphone. When apple finally decides to add mms to the iphone i will get it. Kinda stupid how they left that feature out… i use mms all the time.
