When does the BlackBerry Storm handset come out in the United States?

The Blackberry phone has been a terrific phone for us in my work.  I’ve had BlackBerry phones forever and I saw on a commercial that a new touch screen one is coming out for Verizon.   I would like to know how much the Blackberry Storm will cost, and when it will be available.

  1. No physical date has been announced, only that it will be released for Verizon customers “by late fall”. So I’m guessing a mid November release date. There is still talk to how much it will be, but an article devoted to Blackberry is hoping they will follow overseas pricing - free! They are trying to compete with the iphone and they think price will influence them. However, it is probably unlikely that they will follow overseas pricing like Vodaphone. I’m sure it will be around $250 after rebate.
